UI Prevails. Barack Obama graces the cover of the July 10th issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Its the second time this year Mr. Obama has been featured on the cover, except unlike the March 08 issue, this month’s cover lacks a cover line. By doing so, in this reader’s opinion, delivering a message of hope beyond words.

From the team that coined the term AJAX, Adaptive Path’s UX Week 2008 is coming to San Francisco, August 12 - 15 and the lineup looks amazing! Considered the premier user experience conference, the event is surely to sell out.

A friend of mine who blogs at sandwichesandapples.com wrote an excellent blog post titled "Why Clients Shouldn’t Have WYSIWYG ". He discusses the dangers with giving clients access to a WYSIWYG editor in a content management system and provides a nice compromise where the interests of the designer, the client, and most importantly the users are all met.
